It is exciting times in Brisbane as the CBD is rapidly becoming a national retail destination as luxury designers and new brands are pouring in.
Yesterday saw the opening of GUCCI on Edward Street with its signature gold facade treatment.
GUCCI is joining a growing string of luxury retailers including Chanel opening 8 months ago and established stores Hermes, Hugo Boss, Bally and Louis Vuitton.
Also Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo has just opened a few weeks ago in Queensplaza on the Queen St Mall taking over the space Nine West and Aquila once stood.
It is also a whisper that Louis Vuitton is undergoing an expansion to become a duel level corner store with double the floor space.
No longer is Melbourne or Sydney home to all the luxury designer stores but now Brisbane is becoming a fashion destination in its own right.
Hello world, take notice Brisbane is on designers' radar as a growing hub of fashion savvy appreciators and more importantly shoppers.
