Manning Cartell MBFWA

Loving the coral pink color that seemed to pop up in everyone's collections at MBFWA. Love Manning Cartell's black and white print mixed with the coral trimming and enhanced by pairing it with coral heels. Hoping these heels are by Manning Cartell and will be in stores next summer.

However slight criticism, unless you are a twig or work out for hours everyday doing hundreds of stomach crunches, I don't think many women will be buying the mid-drifts. It may look good on the runway but on real women mostly it would be a disaster.

As a whole, the collection was a bit all over the shop. Some feminine florals, mixed patterns, sport luxe inspired designs, sequins, houndstooth and a very mixed colour palette. It seriously looks like 2 people designed the collection?! It would have been better as 2 separate collections, saving some designs for the next winter collection and sticking to one colour palette direction.
