Rebecca Manning's swimwear is all about separates this season even though she does have the key one piece trend featured too. Print on Print is so one trend in apparel fashion that I wanted to translate into swimwear. See below my edit of possible print on print combos you can try from Rebecca Manning's new collection. For those not as daring to try print on print, why not try a printed bottom or top with a matching block colour piece. www.rebeccamanning.com

PortableTV presents Lookbook.nu
Recently I went to the PortableTV presents Lookbook.Nu talk hosted in Brisbane. Lookbook.Nu co-founders Yuri Lee and Andy Chen provided insight into their concept behind Lookbook.nu and how they see digital communities and online media evolving.
Lookbook.nu is based on the question of "What are you wearing today?"and has engaged millions of people around the world to share literally what they are wearing. Starting just 4 years ago, they now reach It is an interesting phenomenon of online media and blogging and how rapidly the way people consume news is quickly changing. In the talk co-founder Yuri Lee shared their 4 principles of Lookbook.nu which I do believe are 4 very good principles that sum up what a online fashion blog or forum hopes to achieve.

Emerging Designers Show @ MBFF
I am always excited to see shows featuring emerging designers. I always find the anticipation and love the excitement of seeing new talent emerge from the runway. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival this week in Brisbane does feature an emerging designers show. Some of these designers are already selling their designs into stores, some have a have a shop front or online store and some are freshly debuting. I thoroughly enjoy seeing new talents development through their collections. This show featured designs from Isabella Longginou, Erin Hassall, AMIRA, Kip and Brand, Begitta, Shakah, Tovah, and Ash to Gold.
See below KL's Favourite Looks from the Emerging Designers Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival.
ASH TO GOLD
Love the citrus yellow crocheted fringed bag.
This is a very flattering dress, fitted around the bust and flicks out over the hips. The fabrication is also divine, looks like luscious gold metallic goodness.
KIP & BRAND
Love the nude leather corset style belt from Kip & Brand. I love the fact that is made of lots of skinny belts instead of a block corset belt.
See below KL's Favourite Looks from the Emerging Designers Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival.
TOVAH
My favourite of Miss Tovah's collection. I love a shirt dress and this one has a little added extra, a frill peplum. It has this mix of sport luxe mixed with minimalist.
ASH TO GOLD
Love the citrus yellow crocheted fringed bag.
ISABELLA LONGGINOUThis is a very flattering dress, fitted around the bust and flicks out over the hips. The fabrication is also divine, looks like luscious gold metallic goodness.
AMIRA
Always get excited when I see a sleeved maxi dress.
Most women hate their arms so a sleeve is always flattering.
KIP & BRAND
Love the nude leather corset style belt from Kip & Brand. I love the fact that is made of lots of skinny belts instead of a block corset belt.
