Easton Pearson launched their diffusion label EP by Easton Pearson back in 2009 however in the last 12months after debuting the collection on the runway at MBFF 2011 and gaining national press now it is fully on consumer's minds. After opening its little store last year in Winn Lane, Fortitude Valley, it is proving to be a cute, fun label for the young. A mix of colour in mainly lolly pink, lime green, bright blue and orange with printed shirts, peplums and above the knee skirts. The key trend was striped colour both in the print design and also in piped detailing on tops and hemlines.

Easton Pearson @ MBFF
Easton Pearson was almost a trip to the circus with stripes, spots, zig zags, exaggerated flowers, print and topped off with pastel coloured blonde crop bobs. Cute idea but would have been good if the ponytails had been tucked under. Key colours of pink, green, yellow, blue, orange, navy, brown all paired back with a white base. The mix of pattern in some outfits were cute and quirky.

Lee Mathews @ MBFF
Lee Mathews is too casual for my sense of style but I do like it for when I go on a beach holiday, maybe the Greek Islands, The Maldives....let's all just dream for a second......
Ok now snap back.
Lee Mathews is for a woman who likes dressing relaxed pairing these deisgns with a great beaded or metallic necklace and some great detailed flats or sandals.
Lee Mathews is made in natural fabrics so they breathe easy and are comfortable to wear.

Akira @ MBFF
Akira again delivers a relaxed collection keeping true to his very organic aesthetic.
In colours of dark red, burnt orange, browns, yellow, beige and cream, the collection is very earthy and natural with floral and leaf prints and embroidery.

Scanlan &Theodore @ MBFF
I actually can't choose my favourite look as I'm spoilt for choice with the new Spring Summer collection from Scanlan & Theodore. Each look shown at Mercedes'-Benz Fashion Festival was wearable, flattering and will easily slip into a women's wardrobe. I feel there was something for almost every style with a mix of designs that were laid back, feminine, drapey and relaxed, tailored, structured, figure hugging and oversized. Scanlan & Theordore seems to have thought about almost everything this season.
