Lust Love: The Gucci aristographic clutch

It's called the "aristographic clutch" and its minimalist design is made for chic evenings. Now clear handbags come with a warning, as bag contents must be strategically placed and only pretty things are allowed. However this Gucci clutch is KL's Lust Love of the Week although can't choose which colour to lust over more, the pastel pink, the mint green or be a little more smart and lust over the clear which would go with anything. Visit Gucci online HERE to check it out

P.s This may just be for dreaming as the price tag stings so maybe it's one for the "One Day" pile.

Runway Report: Bec & Bridge @ MBFWA

Bec & Bridge is a whole new label, steering away for their short skirts and fitted styles to a more sophisticated silhouette with the use of luxe fabric combinations, more relaxed cuts and longer hemlines. Although, their die-hard fans will still love this collection with slinky figure hugging black dresses just with a longer hemline resulting in some grown-up sophistication. I would say Bec & Bridge will score some new stockists from this year's show and can't wait for it to hit the stores later this year.

Runway Report: MBFWA Day 1

Interesting first day at fashion week Australia, with the fash pack out in force. What now has happened is outside the shows there's just as much action as on the runway with the street style snappers like paparazzi.

Today opened with the 10year celebration of Camilla & Marc followed by the likes of Aurelio Costerella, Bec & Bridge, Christopher Esber and Alex Perry.

At Camilla & Marc was a mix of masculine and feminine looks. Clean, streamlined looks for day and lace and metallic brocade femininity for evening. Congratulations on 10 years!

At Bec & Bridge we saw a whole new label, steering away for their short skirts and fitted styles to a more sophisticated silhouette with the use of luxe fabric combinations, more relaxed cuts and longer hemlines.

At Alex Perry, some new risks for his aesthetic, with a fitted floor length gown with thigh high splits and lace up thigh high custom Tony Bianco boots worn with his signature feminine frocks. A bit more risqué for Mr Perry.

Aurelio Costerella delivers as always beautiful gowns dying for a red carpet moment. He also had a lot of short party dresses for every girl to find an occasion for an excuse to wear his frocks.

Christopher Esber delivered a collection true to his aesthetics with draping, structured separates, textured fabrication and cuts flattering the female form. His collection showed a colour palette of neutrals in greys, black and white with accents of a beige check, cobalt blue, lemon and soft baby blue.

Round off the day with a design duo that have a reputation for putting on a show, Romance Was Born. It's not just a catwalk show with models strutting the catwalk, it's a performance, a show, a story. Eccentric creative makeup and multi-coloured wigs, a colourful set, the Romance Was Born show was a show stopper always leaving the audience with a clear impression of the designers aesthetic. One thing I can always count on in a Romance Was Born show is a collection that is creative, playful, youthful and colourful.

Phenomenal Flora at Gucci

I'm always looking for pretty floral with a great complimenting colour palette with the correct use of flower types within the construction of the print. Style blossoms with Gucci's refreshed Flora print, known as the "Infinity" motif. Vibrant yet delicate, this beauty has infinite appeal. KL favourite is the floral sneakers, which would add a little more polish and softness to a casual pant & tee combo.

Zimmerman AW13 Collection

Zimmermann Autumn Winter 2013 delivers a soft and relaxed collection pairing whimsical dresses with boots and felt hats. The vibe almost bohemian in look and feel.

The collection features a grey washed floral rose print as well as laces, metallics, leather, knits and wool. Interestingly there's pops of colour of orange, Citruese and blue which is a little unexpected for Winter.

Key favourites are
- Dazed leather skirt in wine
- Rising Floral Panel dress
- Independent Mirror skirt
- Independent Stripe Dress
- Independent Long Coat
- Silk Trench in Onyx

KL's Accessories Edit
- Fold Over Clutch in Merlot
- Ankle Cross Pump in Merlot

Behind The Scenes of Jessica Tovey lookbook

I am often asked what happens at a shoot and people are often intrigued as to what goes on behind-the-scenes to get the final images.

Here's some behind the scenes pictures of the Jessica Tovey Autumn Winter look book shoot this week with final images up on the blog soon.

The creative team was photographer Daniel Sangermani, designer Jessica Tovey, makeup artist Lauren Chambers, hair stylist Isabella Townsing and beautiful Dally's model Ashliegh Hawthorne.
