Nails- Cool Kid on the block!

Nails are the "IT" thing at the moment for fashion expression, with crazy designs and out-there colours, nail art is back with avengance. Nails are the NEW fashion accessory.

Either colour co-ordinating with your outfit with accent tones or completely clashing against what youré wearing, nail art is definitely the "Cool kid on the block".

New York Fashion Week saw an array of designers paying special attention to nails on their runways.

The showstopping "Flirty Flower" nails at Rachel Antonoff were created with two coats of CND polish in Flashpoint as a base, then hand detailed using CND Brilliant White and Anchor Blue.

Instead of using a polish to tip nails, the CND nail team at Joy Cioci cut pieces of net overlay to fit.

Kate Spade

The unevenly sized polka dots on the monochrome manicures at Kate Spade gave nails a polished but whimsical feel.

The "Mercury Manis" at Behnaz Sarafpour used high shine gold and metallic accents. These tips were created with CND polish in Gold Chrome and Silver Chrome, but your results may not be the same at home. CND says this works best over a high-tech clear enhancement.
